FashionABLE makes gorgeous scarfs, perfect for Autumn and winter. (I have my eye on this black and white scarf). Anyway, they are having a big sale to celebrate their third birthday. Starting today, everything in their online store is 30% until October 25th. FashionABLE provides at-risk women in Africa with sustainable jobs. Fun fact: each of their lovely handmade scarfs are named after a woman who works with FashionABLE.
The Kickstarter for The True Cost has 19 days to go. This looks like a promising documentary about the 'True Cost' of clothing. I know a good documentary has the power to change minds, and I'd love to see this one get made.
this summer post featuring Greenola. After being introduced to this fair trade brand this past year, I was excited to see what their Autumn collection would look like, and it didn't disappoint. I was so excited to see the simple designs and neutral colors. I can see every one of these comfortable-looking pieces being worn over and over again - dressed up or down. It's great to see a fair trade brand producing such elegant and wearable dresses.
